Acoustic Measurements

A 2D scan of the flow inside the pipe shows detailed information about the flow, the composition and e.g. if any internal network is present. The flow image also reveals more information that is not easily available using other measurement techniques, such as air content, homogenity and fat crystallization stages.

The acoustic properties, for example the sound velocity can be linked to the concentration of solids. The sound velocity has for example been shown to correlate well with the concentration of fibres in pulp suspensions with corresponding linear fit.
